Most programs are free to the public. However, some of the sponsor organizations do ask for a small donation for admission. If you would like to know what, if any, fee is being charged, please contact the sponsoring organization.

Teatown’s Hudson River EagleFest 2008.
EagleFest Headquarters will be located in heated tents at Westchester
County’s Croton Point Park. Although DVRC will be there for 2 one hour long talks
beginning at 11 and 1, the Festival's events will begin at 9 and continue until
4
and will include multiple sites with other speakers, eagle viewing, educational exhibits,
booths, activities for the kids, refreshments, films, etc. Seating for
200. Tickets: $5 each (for pre-sale call 762-2912 ext. 110). For more

Fabulous Flying Fun Fair, Helen Morgan School, 100 Stanhope Road,
Sparta, NJ.
Fair runs from 11-4, includes Games, Clowns, Food. Admission is $13 for a family
of up to four. Weather permitting and for an added fee there will be a bounce
house, slide, and obstacle course.

Preserve, Cragsmoor, NY. Mountain Laurel Day.
Celebrate the beauty of mountain laurel in peak splendor and the first day of
summer at Sam’s Point Preserve from 10-4. Festivities scheduled throughout the
day include photography and art workshops, kid’s activities, ecology hikes and
programs, and more! Please register

Saturday, June 28, 2008, 11:00AM. - Lacawac Sanctuary, Lake Ariel, PA.
Pocono Nature Fest.
Attend live animal programs or take an Edible Plants Walk at 2PM. Budding
biologists can take a peek at microscopic plankton; learn about hydrogeophysics
from Temple University researchers or visit with local conservation groups.
There will also be tours of the Sanctuary’s 1903 Adirondack style lodge at
10:30 AM and 12:30 PM, wildlife games, nature crafts, face painting, music a
native plant sale, food and fun for the whole family! For contact information
